Prison Places for 'Far Right' Protesters "Are Ready" says Home Secretary

Yvette Cooper launches Canada-style crackdown on protestors.


The government have announce they have created prison places for the far-right protestors.

The home secretary Yvette Cooper said prison places “are ready” for the “thuggish minority of criminals” protesting across the UK, ahead of an emergency COBRA meeting today.


Cooper will hold the emergency meeting this morning following nearly a week of protests against the government's immigration policy. The government have labelled anyone disagreeing with their policy of mass immigration as 'far right' and referred to them as those protesting as a "thuggish minority of criminals."


Cooper said:

"They do not speak for our communities.We’ve made sure there are additional prosecutors in place, that there are prisons, that prison places ready, and also that the courts stand ready as well. We have made very clear to the police they have our full support in pursuing the full range of prosecutions and penalties, including the serious prison sentences, long term tagging, travel bans and more."

24 Hour Courts in session

On Saturday Kier Starmer announced that English courts would be working 24 hours a day to process the rioters, after he too categorised them as 'far right'.


Early release of criminals to free-up space for 'new arrivals'

The government announced the new prison places for 'far right thugs' after giving thousands of current inmates early release, allegedly to make space available.


Super Prisons

Plans for six new super prison currently being built on sites across the UK have also been brought forward. The 'super prisons', designed to house up to 10,000 prisoners each, are hurriedly being completed for an expected increase in the prison population.
