Masks and Social Distancing "Could Last Years" - Public Health England

People will need to wear face coverings and socially distance for several years until 'we return to normality', a leading epidemiologist has warned.

Mary Ramsay, the head of immunisation at Public Health England, said basic measures could be in place until other countries successfully roll out jabs. Ramsay also said a return of big spectator events required careful monitoring and clear instructions about staying safe, translated that means, Covid Passports, and more likely that not still an insistence on masks and social distancing, because the addition of a new measure does not appear to decrease the need for other measures.

Dr Ramsay said restrictions such as face coverings in crowded places and social distancing "had become accepted by many and still allowed the economy to function." going on to claim "people have got used to those lower-level restrictions now, and people can live with them, and the economy can still go on with those less severe restrictions in place". adding "So I think certainly for a few years, at least until other parts of the world are as well vaccinated as we are, and the numbers have come down everywhere, that is when we may be able to go very gradually back to a more normal situation,"

Prof Chris Whitty, the UK government's chief medical adviser, and another Covid-fanatic told MPs earlier this month that it he hoped "simple interventions like washing hands, face masks where appropriate, test-and-trace, and above all vaccines" would keep the virus controlled beyond the summer."

Masks are 'necessary' to stop 'asymptomatic' people from spreading the virus they say, something that has been repeatedly and conclusively debunked. Carriers of the virus showing no symptoms are incredibly rare, and not, as SAGE want you to believe, every third person you meet. That 'fact' is a lie. But mask-wearing is even more useless than even that; the virus only spreads by cough or sneeze from an infected person. an uninfected person breathing normally is not an infection risk. And it doesn't even stop there: a leaked report from SAGE themselves concluded the Masks are between 6% and 15% effective. In short most people wearing a mask aren't infected, the odd few that are would only infect you were they to directly cough or sneeze in your direction, and if they weren't home in bed a mask is very unlikely to stop the virus anyway.

No, these are more likely 'training devices' for a vaccine.
