Energy Secretary Ed Miliband has overseen the seizure of Britain's Electricity Network in a move that gives the government overall control of the publics ability to get power to their homes.
The Socialist government coming between customer and supplier means that they can switch on or off supplies at will experts are warning. The seizure of GBs network was said to be a compulsory purchase, with the government giving the power companies just £630 million for the multi-billion pound network, robbing shareholders and pension funds in the process.
The purchase saw Millband claiming that the power network was now owned by the people, the meaningless phrase always used by socialist governments when confiscating businesses, money or property. The National Grid is the very division responsible for keeping Britain's lights on.
With the grid now being a state-run body – dubbed the National Energy System Operator (Neso) – the government's over-all control of Britain's infrastructure continues at pace. The ultimate goal is to take ultimate control of Food, Water, Power, and Information.
The seizure of the Nation Grid is claimed will bring down energy bills however, there is no evidence to back up that claim. When the national grid was last in public hands energy prices wee much higher in real terms. Labour's pre-election claim of lowering energy bills has also been proved hollow, as the first thing they did after taking office was to raise prices and remover OAPs winter allowance.
But the seizure of the Energy Grid has little to do with lowering bills, Its real purpose is to enforce the green agenda.
The cost of this massive takeover? Initially funded by taxpayers, with the government promising to recover the money through – you guessed it – charges on your energy bills. Hard-working families will be feeling the squeeze even more while Miliband pushes forward Labour’s green agenda.
The GB National Grid will operate alongside GB Energy, another state-run company set up by Labour to funnel money into faux green energy projects. Former E.On boss Paul Golby will be brought in as chairman, whilst Miliband himself will act as the 'sole shareholder', giving him even more power over Britain’s energy supply.
The day-to-day running of this giant new bureaucracy will be handled by Fintan Slye, who is already on board with the plan to bring the entire gas and electricity system under one organisation, a frightening prospect for Brits given this government's obsession with people using too much of everything, and their constant efforts to make you consume less.
Miliband claims this takeover is key to transforming Britain into a "clean energy superpower," as he looks to move the country away from “expensive, insecure” fossil fuels. Expect power cuts to be far more likely now that starmer has control of the switch.
Despite Miliband’s claims that this new body will be “operationally independent,” the fact remains – the government, and Miliband in particular, will be pulling the strings on this latest energy empire.
Neso, created under powers from the Energy Act 2023, is said will be responsible for 'safeguarding' the nation’s energy supplies, whilst also lowering Britain's carbon output. Expect power-cuts, Energy rationing and a carbon credit system to follow. Blackout have been on the cards for some time, but have just goner from a possibility to a probability with this announcement.
Proof, as if any were needed that the labour dictatorship is hellbent on completely ruining the UK and impoverishing the people.
