Four-Year-Olds Can Change Gender Without Parents’ Consent in Scotland Schools

Trans pressure group Mermaids has called for 'transphobic' parents who are against the new law to be reported.

Scotland has fallen.

A seventy-page document issued to Scotland schools calls for teachers not to question a child if they seek to be referred to with pronouns different from their biological sex. Yes, you did read that right - children as young as FOUR YEARS OLD!

Under new guidelines issued by the Scottish government, children as young as four will not require parental consent to change their gender whilst in school. This, according to the document, has no relation to transitioning, medical procedures, or a legal changing of gender.' Yeah right.

Since closet Marxists the SNP gained power in Scotland there has been a deluge of 'progressive' laws targeting children. Often these laws involve their sexualisation under the guise of 'inclusivity'. Indeed the paper talks of 'inclusive learning environments' as if somehow transgender toddlers are actually a thing. Schools are now being told that trans pupils should be able to use whatever lavatory or changing room they choose, and that they should develop “gender neutral” uniform options, and include transgender characters and role models in lessons.

The loonies go on to frame the notion of transgender kids as a real 'issue', and not just the wet dream of seedy middle-aged sexual deviants, stating the programme 'aims to create a safe environment where kids can feel free to experiment with gender, push back on gender-related stereotypes, and possibly have an open dialogue with staff if they believe they are trans.' it goes on to claim 'A transgender young person may not have told their family about their gender identity. Inadvertent disclosure could cause needless stress for the young person or could put them at risk and breach legal requirements. Therefore, it is best to not share information with parents or carers without considering and respecting the young person’s views and rights.

Scottish education secretary Shirley-Anne Somerville said "The transgender 'toolkit' says that not confirming to stereotypes is a healthy and normal part of growing up and doesn’t immediately mean a child is transgender." adding “If a young person in the school says that they now want to live as a boy although their sex assigned at birth was female, or they now want to live as a girl, although their sex assigned at birth was male, it is important to provide support and listen to what they are saying." “If others deny this, it may have a detrimental impact on the young person's wellbeing, relationships and behaviour and this is often clearly apparent to teachers, parents and carers."

Mermaids Tweeted: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. It’s time to step up. We’ve joined 38 LGBTQ+ orgs calling on @EHRC to step up for communities amid rising anti-LGBTQ+ hate in the UK

They are by no means the only child-sex obsessed pressure group pushing for more indoctrination of Scottish kids. Fawcett CEO Sam Smethers said "We have girls who have low self-esteem and issues with their body image, with one in five 14-year-old girls self-harming. We have a heavily segregated labour market where just 8 per cent of STEM apprentices are women. Gender stereotyping is at the root of all of this. We have to grasp the challenge to change it.”

But Marion Calder, co-director of the For Women Scotland campaign group, which has a history of pushing back against these types of ideologies said: “Those children are now being encouraged on to a medical pathway, potentially for the rest of their lives. We should not be teaching children, and especially primary school children, that you can change sex, because you cannot change sex."
