Because some black people are lactose intolerant.
An environmental activist is petitioning Brighton and Hove City Council to remove all cheese and other dairy products from the school menu because, she claims, they are “racist.”
Gordon Brown shutting all the mental hospitals has a lot to answer for.
Extinction rebellion member Alison Plaumer has told local officials at Brighton and Hove City Council that dairy is racist; because black people are more likely to be lactose intolerant. During a Zoom meeting Plaumer said “Arguably, there is a racist element to serving dairy too much because 65 per cent of the world’s population are lactose intolerant, many from the BAME (black, Asian and minority ethnic) community,”
Plaumer is demanding plant-based food only to be served at all state run schools for two days a week, and for council events to be completely plant-based once the pandemic is finished.
Hilariously, Plaumer launched the campaign despite the fact that children already have a vegan option every day.
The social sciences lecturer and former Green Party employee is also demanding more council-run events to be vegan once the pandemic is over, with her petition reaching the dizzy-heights of 250 signatures.
the XR member cited a paper that claimed approximately 65 per cent of the human population has a reduced ability to digest lactose after infancy. In adulthood is most prevalent in people of East Asian descent, with 70 to 100 percent of people affected in these communities.
Ironically, it is 100% of her that is intolerant. Intolerant of anyone who doesn't share her Marxist view of the world; ie normal people. However, Ms Plaumer has missed a trick here: Brighton and Hove Council are really only obsessed with LGBTQ issues. Had the activist weaved some type of narrative about Cheese being offensive to Trans people the council would have adopted it. She really didn't think that one through did she. She should have said 'Cheese is Transphobic', that would have been a winner.
